1. General Provisions
1.1. This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) forms part of the Taleino Terms of Service and establishes the rules and limitations governing the use of the Taleino website, applications, story generation tools, AI-powered features, content generation services, and related services.
1.2. Taleino is a service intended for parents, legal guardians, and other authorized adults who create personalized stories and related content for children.
1.3. By accessing or using Taleino, you agree to comply with this Policy and all applicable laws.
1.4. Violations of this Policy may result in content removal, restriction of specific features, suspension, or termination of the User’s account.
1.5. Taleino may take immediate action where reasonably necessary to protect children, Users, third parties, the Platform, or the security and integrity of its services.
1.6. If there is a conflict between this Policy and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall prevail unless this Policy expressly provides otherwise.
1.7. The User is responsible for complying with the laws applicable in their country or jurisdiction when using Taleino.
2. Permitted Use
2.1. Taleino may be used for lawful purposes, including:
- creating personalized stories for children;
- creating stories based on characters, interests, themes, and other information provided by the User;
- generating or requesting illustrations and other creative content made available by Taleino;
- accessing, saving, downloading, or sharing content where such functionality is provided by the Platform;
- using Taleino for family and personal entertainment;
- using Taleino for educational purposes;
- creating content for personal or household use;
- using Taleino for other lawful purposes permitted by the Terms of Service.
2.2. Users may share stories generated through Taleino with family members, friends, educators, or other recipients, provided that such sharing complies with applicable law and the intellectual property rights of third parties.
2.3. Users must have the necessary rights and permissions to provide any information, text, images, names, or other materials submitted to Taleino.
2.4. If a User provides information relating to a child, the User represents that they are the child's parent, legal guardian, or otherwise have the necessary authority to provide that information and request the relevant service.
3. Prohibited Use
3.1. Illegal Activity
Users are strictly prohibited from using Taleino for:
- any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations;
- fraud, deception, or other unlawful activity;
- money laundering or financing of terrorism;
- infringement of intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of third parties;
- creating or distributing content intended to facilitate criminal activity;
- attempting to evade applicable sanctions or legal restrictions.
3.2. Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation
Taleino has zero tolerance for content involving child sexual abuse or exploitation.
Users are strictly prohibited from using Taleino to:
- create, request, generate, distribute, store, or promote child sexual abuse material;
- sexualize or eroticize children or minors;
- request sexualized depictions or descriptions of children;
- create sexual content involving real or fictional minors;
- facilitate grooming, exploitation, trafficking, or abuse of children;
- use the Platform to facilitate contact with children for sexual or exploitative purposes.
Taleino may immediately suspend or terminate accounts involved in such activity and may report suspected illegal activity to competent authorities where required or permitted by law.
3.3. Harmful or Abusive Content
Users must not use Taleino to create or distribute content that:
- encourages or facilitates child abuse, neglect, exploitation, or violence;
- encourages suicide or self-harm;
- promotes dangerous activities involving children;
- provides instructions intended to cause serious physical harm;
- promotes criminal activity;
- encourages targeted harassment, threats, or abuse;
- intentionally facilitates discrimination or hateful conduct against protected groups.
3.4. Sexual Content
Users are prohibited from using Taleino to generate explicit sexual content involving minors.
Taleino may also restrict or refuse other sexually explicit content where such content is inconsistent with the intended family-oriented nature of the Platform.
3.5. Harassment, Threats, and Abuse
Users are prohibited from using Taleino to:
- threaten or intimidate other persons;
- generate targeted harassment campaigns;
- impersonate another person for the purpose of deception or harm;
- create content intended to facilitate stalking or abuse;
- publish or distribute another person's private information without authorization.
3.6. Fraud, Phishing, and Impersonation
Users are strictly prohibited from using Taleino for:
- phishing;
- credential theft;
- fraudulent communications;
- scams;
- impersonation intended to deceive or cause harm;
- creation of deceptive materials intended to obtain money, credentials, or confidential information unlawfully.
3.7. Unauthorized Access and Security Abuse
Users are strictly prohibited from:
- attempting to gain unauthorized access to Taleino systems, servers, databases, accounts, or administrative interfaces;
- bypassing authentication or access controls;
- attempting to circumvent technical limitations or security measures;
- exploiting vulnerabilities without authorization;
- introducing malware, malicious code, or other harmful software;
- interfering with the operation or security of the Platform.
Security vulnerabilities should be reported to Taleino rather than exploited.
3.8. Scraping and Automated Access
Users are strictly prohibited from using:
- scrapers;
- bots;
- spiders;
- crawlers;
- automated browsers;
- scripts;
- Selenium, Puppeteer, Playwright, or similar tools;
to systematically access, copy, extract, or reproduce Taleino content or functionality without prior written authorization.
This includes automated collection of:
- stories;
- illustrations;
- prompts;
- website content;
- product data;
- account-related information;
- other Platform materials.
Normal use of Taleino through its publicly available interfaces is permitted.
3.9. Circumvention of Usage Limits
Users must not attempt to circumvent:
- subscription limits;
- generation limits;
- account restrictions;
- trial limitations;
- technical access controls;
- payment requirements;
- feature restrictions.
Creating multiple accounts or using other technical means to obtain benefits intended for a single account may be treated as circumvention.
3.10. Account Sharing and Unauthorized Access
Unless expressly permitted by the applicable subscription plan, Users must not:
- share account credentials with unrelated third parties;
- sell, rent, or transfer access to their account;
- allow unauthorized persons to use their account;
- create accounts for the purpose of circumventing subscription or usage restrictions.
The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
3.11. Intellectual Property Infringement
Users must not use Taleino to:
- reproduce or distribute third-party copyrighted works without authorization;
- generate content that intentionally infringes third-party intellectual property rights;
- submit materials that the User does not have the right to use;
- remove copyright notices or other proprietary notices from the Platform;
- copy, reproduce, sell, or commercially exploit Taleino's proprietary software, interface, branding, or underlying systems without authorization.
3.12. Reverse Engineering
Except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable mandatory law, Users must not:
- reverse engineer the Platform;
- decompile or disassemble software;
- attempt to extract source code;
- attempt to discover proprietary algorithms, prompts, system instructions, or security mechanisms;
- create competing services through unauthorized copying or extraction of Taleino's proprietary technology.
4. AI-Generated Content
4.1. Taleino uses artificial intelligence and other automated technologies to generate stories, illustrations, audio, and other content where such functionality is available.
4.2. AI-generated content may occasionally contain inaccuracies, unexpected elements, inappropriate wording, or other errors.
4.3. Users are responsible for reviewing generated content before sharing it with children or other persons.
4.4. Users must not rely on Taleino-generated content as professional medical, psychological, legal, educational, or other professional advice.
4.5. Users must not use Taleino-generated content to make decisions that could reasonably cause significant harm to a child or another person without appropriate human judgment and, where necessary, professional advice.
4.6. Taleino may automatically refuse, modify, or restrict requests that appear to violate this Policy or other applicable safety requirements.
5. Child Safety
5.1. Taleino is designed to be used by adults to create content for children.
5.2. Parents and legal guardians are responsible for determining whether generated content is appropriate for a particular child.
5.3. Users must not submit information about a child unless they have a lawful basis and the necessary authority to provide and process that information.
5.4. Users should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information about children.
5.5. Taleino may restrict or refuse requests that could create a material risk to the safety, privacy, or wellbeing of a child.
5.6. If Taleino becomes aware of activity that may involve child exploitation, abuse, or other serious harm, it may take immediate protective measures and may contact competent authorities where legally required or appropriate.
6. Misuse of Generated Content
Users are responsible for how they use, distribute, and share content generated through Taleino.
Users must not use generated content to:
- deceive others about its origin where disclosure is required by applicable law;
- impersonate real persons for fraudulent or harmful purposes;
- harass, threaten, exploit, or harm another person;
- infringe third-party rights;
- facilitate illegal activity.
Where a User combines Taleino-generated content with third-party materials, the User is responsible for ensuring that the resulting use complies with applicable law.
7. Content Moderation and Enforcement
7.1. Taleino may use automated systems and human review, where appropriate, to detect potential violations of this Policy, protect the Platform, and maintain user safety.
7.2. Taleino may refuse to generate requested content or restrict access to particular features when a request appears to violate this Policy.
7.3. Taleino may remove or restrict access to content that violates this Policy or applicable law.
7.4. Enforcement measures may include:

7.5. The appropriate measure will be determined by Taleino based on the nature and severity of the violation, potential harm, previous violations, and other relevant circumstances.
7.6. Where an account is suspended or terminated because of a violation of this Policy, refunds will be handled in accordance with the Refund Policy and Terms of Service.
8. Reporting Violations
8.1. Users may report suspected violations of this Policy to:

8.2. Reports should include, where available:
- a description of the suspected violation;
- relevant account information, if known;
- date and approximate time;
- relevant URLs or other identifying information;
- supporting evidence.
8.3. Users should not include unnecessary personal or sensitive information in an abuse report.
8.4. Taleino will review reports using reasonable procedures appropriate to the nature of the reported issue.
8.5. Taleino may disclose information to law enforcement, regulators, or other competent authorities where required by applicable law or where reasonably necessary to address serious unlawful activity or protect individuals from serious harm.
9. No Circumvention
9.1. Users must not attempt to circumvent this Policy by:
- creating alternative accounts;
- modifying prompts to evade safety controls;
- using encoded or indirect instructions to obtain prohibited content;
- exploiting technical vulnerabilities;
- combining multiple Platform features to bypass restrictions;
- using external tools to circumvent Taleino's technical or safety controls.
9.2. Attempts to circumvent safety measures may be treated as violations even where the attempted request does not ultimately result in prohibited content being generated.
10. Changes to This Policy
10.1. Taleino may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Platform, applicable law, safety requirements, or industry standards.
10.2. The updated version will be published on the Taleino website and will become effective on the date specified in the updated version.
10.3. Where required by applicable law, Users will be notified of material changes through appropriate means.
10.4. Continued use of Taleino after the effective date of an updated Policy constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
